A distinguished pilot in the Australian Flying Corps during World War I, Raymond Parer later achieved public recognition in 1920 when he and John McIntosh became the first to fly a single engine aircraft from England to Australia. Captain Edgar Johnston was a decorated pilot in the First World War, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross for his bravery. Following the war, he played a pivotal role in establishing civil aviation in Australia, contributing to the development of the nation's aviation infrastructure and inspiring future generations of aviators.

Sir Fergus McMaster (1866–1952)
